Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

My art is based on the study of natural phenomena. Im fascinated with nature and all its changing forms. I especially love studying things that other creatures make. I approach my work in the same way that a spider would spin a web, or a bird would build a nest. It is in the simple gesture coupled with repetition that I find the most interesting results.
